Narrabeen Weekend!

Friday the 25th of October.

Woohoo! Weekend!


And a special one even..

Straight after school, I really mean it, I got picked up and then we drove (Ken and I) drove down the mountains to meet Ray Rice, for he would take me the rest of the way to Narrabeen.

We met him somewhere at Hawkesbury I think. He as a Bike Vice President was doing repair works at this forest for the weekends race. We packed Rays car with the Equipment I needed for the trip, and only the I found out the mistake I had made.

I had not packed any footwear.....

So there I stood, totally forgot it because, usually my footwear would be on my feet, but no, I still had school uniform on me, so I really never thought about it before I changed behind Rays car.
Geez, what a stupid move.

I said goodbye to Ken and drove with Ray further on.
And we got to catch up. Since I had not seen him since the night at Lunar Park, which I did not write about since it was just a quick meet up since he was on his way to the opera house for a concert.
I have had met Sue and Ray a few times because of Ian, and they are nice people and lovely to talk to so it was good to meet ray once more.

We arrived at he Narrabeen camp at 17:40, 40 minutes late, and this was not because we were late. It was just that I lived far away and we also went straight after I finished school so not much I could do.

We (Jakob, Michelle (Shane's wife) and I) unfolded the tent, and tried to set it up. Which was rather difficult for some reason. After about 20 minutes we figured it out. The tent was made out of. 3 parts, the main tent with 1 door, a small tent with 1 door, and a rain covering with 2 doors.

I also got a pair of Thongs of Michelle, so I could use some footwear other than my posh shoes.
Thongs is in Aussie, flip flops by the way. Just so you don't get confused.

Anyways, I went with a few others to the Narrabeen beach which was a mistake, since we were not aloud to leave the area that moment, whoops. Hard times were had.

We  got late to dinner, and it was a bit akward. Rest of the night we spent on playing games.
