We got up earlish (7:00) and went to the Pigeon House, a mountain. Today our goal was to reach the top of the pigeon house. Jennifer and Ian warned me about the 4 stages.
Stage 1: Very steep, like at a 35+ angle.
Stage 2: Flat, a very nice walk.
Stage 3: Steep once more.
Stage 4: Ladders, pretty much 80+ angle.
The most difficult ones were definitely 1 and 3, where 2 was very nice and 4 just gorgeous.
Our plan was to reach the top, take some pictures and get our lunch.
And we did get up to the top, at the top we met about 5 other people. And they quickly heard my accent and asked where I was from.
Apparently one of them is an Australian living in Denmark with her boyfriend. She did speak Danish and we got a small chit chat.

This is on the top of the mountain. You can only wonder of what has happend here. |
You get an idea of how steep part 4 is. |
Picture a little below Pigeon House |
Pigeon house is self. As you can see, it quite steep. |
A little rest |
That`s a looong way to fall |
We got our lunch and then headed back down, it surely hurt your knees and I was rather glad when I saw the car park after walking in harsh terrain for 4 hours.
Some people had noticed something moving in the grass, it was a huge lizard!
It was huge, I did not think they got that big but they did, it was gorgeous.
It crawled up in the tree when it saw all the people |

Anyways, we headed to the car, and a while after Ian stopped.
He said he had seen a Snake on the road.
We exited the car and went over to investigate. It was indeed a snake (A python), but it was not lethal or venomous (Don't worry mom!). Ian got a branch and held it down, and then he took his hand and put it just below the snakes head, then he lifted the snake up and I got to touch it.
Here you see the australian kid with a snake on his hand |

Said snake on the road. |
Then Ian lifted It across the road so it would not be in danger of getting driven over. However before he released it the snake decided to take a leak on Ian.
Even Aussies needs to be a kid sometimes.
After that we went to the bakery (Milton) and I got a milkshake and a lamington (Australian famous)
They were very good and I left the place with a full stomach.
We then went to lake Conjola, a rather clear lake made bluer because of the Gum Tree Oil.
It looked gorgeous, but then again cold.
We went for a small walk to the beach and I got introduced to "Blue Bottles".
They are these Jelly animals that looks like blue bottles and they are rather poisonous but not lethal. But if you get stung, you will definitely have a bad time.
You sure do experience a lot down here at Sussex and Around,
