I dont have enough time!

Im not updating as much as I want to, but I am just too busy.
That also means that there is no pictures today, however they will come later.

As you know, I live in Katoomba, which is one of the beautiful homes of The Blue Mountains.
This also means that there are some great nature tracks. Which i went on with Ian this Saturday. It was a beautiful and rough walk and there was some magnificent areas where I took a few pictures. Which i will upload later. After the walk we went to a Café where we got a Sandwich and some to drink. It was great fun and I am looking forward to go for more hikes.

Sunday

Sunday I went with Ian to a Rotary President changeover. And for my surprise I found it quite fun being there. Well, I was the nearest to what you could call the twenties. But the changeover had so many spirit full and fun men and ladies that it became fun and inspirational to watch and listen to the changeover. There is no doubt. Rotary is fighting for a change.

When we got home, Jennifer was waiting, it was first time I met her. The plan was that we should eat at some of their friends, but it was canceled. This led to that we ate at home and talked about my plans for the upcoming year.

Monday

I started School.
It is so different in so many ways that it would be easier to tell you what it had in common than what there is in difference between the Danish and Australian school. So different.
I need to adjust for this, and it will no doubt take some time.

Anyways, I wanted to tell about some differences.

1) They get extreme amounts of break (recess)
2)Aussies eats tons of chips, and wrap.
3) They like to hang out in larger groups. Like +10 or so. Meaning people tend to stay more together that the Danish where we usually hang out in groups of 5, and on occasions much more. But on an average, the Aussies are +10.
4) School Uniforms sucks, I guess i need to get used to it.
5) The guy who thought that Black Lace schools were good walking shoes in the mountains deserves a medal for "Most painful way of killing feet".
6) Lessons are relaxed. Teachers jokes and  everybody speaks their mind when they feel like it. Also if it's off topic.
7) However, it's still Mr and Mrs...
I will find more...

After school Jennifer and I went to Katoomba for buying some black lace shoes which is required for the school. We also tried to find me some hiking boots which I will need shortly.
When we were about to head home we found these fantastic cloud patterns which made Australians go outside on the road and just take pictures and look at the clouds. So did i, and I will upload when I get the time.

In the evening I went to the first Katoomba Rotary Club meeting. The club was quite smaller that what I was used to, but they seemed nice and that's the most important part. One of the members  of the club is in fact the owner of "Scenic World", a major tourism attraction, and he promised me that he would get me a all year card for his rides and walks. Which I am looking forward to.

Well, these were the major things within the last few days and I will update again when I can.
