Today David Arnott took me surfing at north Narrabeen As well as a few other places.
We left Lisa's and Kens place at 6:30 and went on our journey.
On the car trip I learned his occupation as. Well that he is a descendent of the family who created Arnotts Biscuits, which creates the famous Tim Tams.
His family does however not own it anymore since an American company now owns it.
As said, we went to north Narrabeen, which is just in front of his childhood house.
The surf were huge, and a newbie surfer like me didn't stand a chance and were crushed Time by time.
We decided we should go to another beach, and we did. It was much more calm at the other beach and I got to catch so e waves, I can't wait to become better, it sure is fun!
We the went to Narrabeen. town and got some fish and chips, the famous summer meal. And then headed back home
Back home, at Lisa and kens, David gave me his surf board, since he can't use it, because of his hips and arms. So now I can go surfing when I want. However I'm not sure if it is possible to take the train with a surfboard, it fills quite a lot.
So, now Ken and Lisa got an extra surfboard in their basement, that's just how it goes.
Hopefully I will be able to go surfing again soon.
