Sunday the 2nd of November
Today, most of the exchange students went on the Sovereign, near, somewhere I can't pronounce or spell, I do know however that it is connected to Hawkesbury river. Basically the boat was a Mini ferry, and had everything.
Swedish Ida's club sponsored the food and drinks, meaning bread rolls and burgers for lunch, Endless of drinks, Chips, Fruit and lollies, we also had dessert, Caramel Tart and Cheese Cake, so we were well fed and spoiled.
We were about 16 Students.
It took about 2 hours to reach our destination, a little beach where we would get lunch, we didn't go to the beach however because it was windy. So we had lunch on the boat. So we stayed on the "Sea" and of course we went for a swim, the boat was quite tall about 4-5 meters, and therefore it was excellent to jump from. Good fun.
I was the first to jump in, and it didn't take long before the students yelled "Jellyfish!", now, Aussie jellyfish are freaking disgusting, they are about 5-10 times bigger than the Danish ones spandex got long tentacles and a yellow color that just yells disease. So, I swam. Quickly.
A Student accidentally dropped the rope that attached the boat to the bottom, and that meant the boat floated away, whoops, I had just gotten dry, so I jumped trying to get the rope attached to the boat again it was however to late and they has to start the engine to reposition the boat again.
I had some fun times just looking at the boat sailing around while I was probably surround by disgusting jellies.
I also helped a Japanese girl overcome her fear from height and got her to jump the 4-5 meter jump.
Overall good day.
Later on We went back to the Habour to catch our ride home, I was going to drive with Kate's Hostparents to their place, whereafter I'll be picked up by Doruks counsellors, Doruk was also in the car. (We were back at 17:40)
All went good, we arrived at Kate's place, and expected to wait a few minutes before we headed on the Springwood where I could catch the train back to Katoomba.
Minutes passed.
An hour passed.
Dinner was set.
We ate unplanned dinner at some people's house we haven't been to before. It was however good lamb, but you still felt bad for causing he trouble. After about 2 hours the counsellors arrived and we headed to Springwood where I barely got to catch the train. David Reyner and his wife drove us, and he was with me at the station, and he told me a story about one of his exchange students.
He had been partying in Central, and went back to Springwood, he did however fall a sleep and therefore he ended in Lithgow! Which is quite far away. Like 1,5 hours from Katoomba.
Now, David told him to stay put,(over phone) and he would come and get him in his car.
About half way there he get a call from his wife, the student is not back at Central because he fell asleep once more...
Now, David rang the Train company and explained the situation, he asked if it was possible if they could get a guard to watch the student until the train arrived at Springwood and then kick him off.
The guard did as he was told.
Anyways, on my train ride I saw this guy sleeping, and I thought of the story I just explained you. So I woke him up p, and sure enough he had passed his station (Hazelbook) and we were at Wentworth Falls, the guy jumped of the train and took the next train, (I assume) pretty sure I just made that guys day and that otherwise he would be in Lithgow.
I the continued my journey and was back in my bed at 22:40. Lots more happened on this day, and it has been a long time since I have been that exhausted. Too bad I got school In the morning..
