A Joy Ride

Sunday the 9th of November

Got up early, and got ready.

Ken was doing the Half fling of 50 Km, while I was doing the Joy Ride of the small 14 Kms. ( I know nothing compared to him)

The Race started at 8:40 and I was back at somewhere near 9:30-40.

The track was quite cool and had a lot of cool enviroments, it started with a long reach of hils with asphalt road, which was easy. It then turned more dusty/sandish, getting a bit tiring, and then we went for the farms, pure farmland with huge downhills and good speed. also a bit bumpy.

We then ended in the rocky bush land, which made it much more difficult and slower.
I had to stop multiple times.

Then ended on farm, climbing high, bushland, and then the road, where there was a 2 Km downhill trip which was great.

The last 3 ks of the race was good, open bushland with no road, really felt like a race.

When I got to finish the host came to congratulate me, and ask me questions such as:

H: How was it?
M: Good!
H: Did you have fun?
M: Yep, good track, good fun.
H: Will you be back for Next year?
M: Ehh, no.

We went back to camp, packed up, went to Maccers, and got home.

That was a good weekend!
