Opera House!

Saturday the 6th of September

I went to Sydney with Ida, the Swedish Exchange Student, to do some touring.
It was quite sunny when we arrived and we got some great Australian Pizza at Darling Habour thanks to Ida's coupon cards (2 for 1). She also had a coupon for Sea Life at the Habour p, however it was peak hour and the line was long so we decided to go to the Opera House and do some (free) sightseeing. I thought the Opera House was a short walk from Darling Habour, however I was quite wrong, I probably chose the longest way and after 50 minutes walking down backstreets, and markets we were there.

Last year I was at the Opera house as well. And it was quite disappointing to see it once more, still under work/repair/maintaining work/something like that, we also got to see a part of the royal botanic gardens. On the way to the Opera House we also got to see a Danish Ice Cream Shop, it did not look Danish, the prices was crazy, and it did not seem like they spoke Danish :(
We did not end up buying a ice cream since it was 7 dollars for one scoop. Over priced...

We also went to the botanic gardens and got a short look around, one thing we noticed was there was this Little area filled with Bamboo, they were all written, like J+K "Heart". It was like that fence in paris with all the Locks, here they were all just scratched in!

After that we took a train back to Darling, and just went for a walk around the place until we went home.
