Today I took with Ian to Sydney to visit the goverment house for a National Youth Science Forum.
It is a program that takes the best of the Aussies and puts them in good schools (In the long run) as I understood. Ian was so nice that he asked Her Excelleny Dame Marie Bashir if he could bring me as well. And she said yes. So the goverment house is where all the big events are held and most years the govenour lives there as well. Marie did not live there because of political reasons which doesnt matter for you back in Denmark! So I met her in the goverment house and she was very glad to meet me, very suprising. She even mentioned that I was one of the great countrymen of the beloved Denmark in her speech to the Youth Students, what a nice lady!
I honestly did not expect to meet the govenour of NSW under my stay here. And i certainly did not expect her to act as she did. She was very open and everyone could speak with her, and she was not afraid of doing jokes. And when she noticed Ian standing with his camera, she asked if I wanted a Picture with her, and thats how we skipped the line and I got a Picture with her Excellency.
In the evening I went to Katoomba, and it was a "Interesting" meeting, lets just leave it there.
