Swimming lessons on the field!

Monday the 18th of August

Another school day, nothing unexpected happend. Well unless we talk about rain. It rained and rained and guess what? rained. It began Sunday morning and has gone and begun ever since. It had rained so much in the night that it had flooded the BMGS rugby field (Blue Mountains Grammar School), and ducks had begun swimming in the water pools. Also, on the Picture in the right there is a lake in the far back. It was invisble in the rain.

In the evening we went to Rotary, it was a sort of Club Region get-together.
At the event I also met Ida, the Swedish Exchange Student. We got a bit of chit-chat, mostly about how weird the Aussie School is. We also met Don, who said that he would maybe arrange a Helicopter/Plane trip for Ida and I so we could see the beauties of the coast from above. It is ALWAYS nice to meet such Rotarians! The Whole thing was about club presidents giving a speech about what programmes they have that helps the community. Some of the were very impressive and one of the programmes had gathered 2 million dollars through 20 years!

Generally a good evening, but gosh it rained in the evening. We had trouble seeing the road, as in it looked like one big mass of water!
