The first few days

Well, now I have settled a little bit, and the jet lag  isn't killing me.

I flew the 22nd and it was 2 very long flights, adding up to about 20 hours in flight.
I landed Wednesday, and gosh I was tired. At Sydney airport I was met by my fourth family and their son called Hugh, whom is going to Brasil later on with Rotary.
We went for a 2 and a half hour drive Katoomba, and it was and still is quite cold. It's 13 degrees at the moment and for comparison, we got 18 in Sydney, And 29 In Cairns which is quite a bit further up.

I'm living with the Scott's, But right now only Ian is home. They are both busy with Rotary, and Ian attends quite a lot of meetings.

Thursday
I woke up, trashed by the jet lag, we went to a School science challenge, where Ian was a judge. At the school there were quite a lot of different tasks they had to complete, such as building a hovercraft, or making a bridge of small wooden pieces that had to be strong enough to carry about 7 pounds. after that we went to town to get some necessary groceries, whereafter we went home and I took a looooong nap.

Friday (Today)

This morning I met with my Counsellor, and we drove to the Blue Mountains Grammar School where we got me suited up with informations and School Uniform (They are very expensive by the way) . It's quite a different kind of school. The one thing that surprised me most was about how the school had Houses, (yes, like Harry Potter with Gryffindor and what else they got). Later on we took to a local pie Restaurant and we went to the bank for signing up for an account. It should arrive within the next 7 days.

I will update soon!
